Review- MUA face primer.

For the last few days i have been trying out the MUA make up primer available from Superdrug for £4.

I have been really excited to try this primer and at only £4 it wasn't long till it was coming home with me. (along with some friends of course.)
As i already had make up on that day i had to wait until the next day to try it out and i was really surprised by the consistency of the cream its has the look and feel of a white watery moisturiser that when rubbed in goes clear i was expecting something a little thicker but other than the Garnier BB cream i haven't really tried any primers before.

I applied it all over my face and put my make up on as usual apparently you can use this under make up or on its own i opted for my full make up as i just don't have skin that could handle just this lol!
As i said before i have been using it for a good few days now and i have to say i haven't really noticed a difference. I don't think its made a difference to my make up application and i can't say i've noticed my make up staying on any longer either so for me a rather disappointing product.
So the hunt cotinues for a good BB cream or face primer, if any of you lovelies can recommend one for me to try that would be fab i would also love to hear your thoughts on this one too if you have tried it.

3/10
Its a good price and didn't break me out or leave my skin feeling dry but it just didn't give me the results i was expecting.

Superdrug Tea Tree cleansing pad review

I was recently introduced to this little skin savior in a pot by my Big sis, Stacey and i loved them so much i ran out to get some for myself.
Lately i have noticed a few spots on my face usually i'm quite lucky and don't really get them but every morning when i got up i noticed another little friend had appeared (maybe not enough beauty sleep?)
So whilst staying at Stacey's for the weekend she told me to try Superdrugs Tea Tree cleansing pads and although i only used them for a few days one in the morning and one at night i noticed a difference in my skin.
The pimples seemed to be fading and my skin seemed smoother and more radiant and im putting it all down to my little green pot.

You get 40 tea tree soaked round pads per pot.
One side is quite rough and the other side is smooth. With facial scrub i usually find there to rough or there not rough enough but with the scrubby pad you decide on how scrubby you want them to be by depending on the pressure you wipe with. Obviously you don't want to move like your sanding a table but around my nose for example i was a little more rough than around my eyes.
So Using circular motions you use the scrubby side first and finish with the smooth side.

It left my skin cool, soft, fresh sometimes when using tea tree in the past its made y skin feel quite tight but im glad to say these do no such thing. (Shhh even my husband has had ago and said they were good lol)
On the pot it says not wash your face after so it can carry on working.
The pads were wet enough with out dripping everywhere and they obviously have that unmistakable smell of Tea tree.
Each pot of 40 pads is only £2.99 but at the moment Superdrug have an offer 2 Tea Tree products for £3.99 and i loved them so much i just bought two of these.

Mini MUA haul.

I thought i would quickly share a few bits i picked up on a recent shopping trip to a new Superdrug that's opened up near me. Tease on my door step! Not good!! lol

I actually went to pick up the MUA primer for £4, as you may remember i mentioned wanting to try it.
The MUA products are currently on 3 for 2 so i also picked up a nail varnish in shade 21 which is a mauve colour for £1 and choose a lip gloss in shade 5 which is a really light pink colour as my free product.

So far i really like the primer its a little more watery than i expected but it makes my skin nice and smooth ready for my make up i will try this product for a bit longer and write a review on it.

I already have 2 other MUA polishes and i think they are amazing quality for £1 they are easy to apply and super glossy they last well too.

The lip gloss is a really nice natural colour i'd say the next step up from clear gloss the applicator which is a slanted sponge is a little dry so it take a few goes to get your lips glossed i think they should swap the sponge for a little brush.

Here are the products:

Peaceful Pamper Evening!!

As my husband headed of to his weekly football training and my son headed off to bed last night i decided to have a mini pamper evening in peace!

I started with a nice long soak in the bath and scrubbed my skin using my exfoliating gloves.
I got them from the 99p store for obviously 99p for a pack of 2!!
If you haven't heard of them before basically there rough textured gloves that you wear in the bath or shower that easily exfoliates your skin.
 Perfect to use before tanning.
On the gloves i put some original source daily scrub cranberry and honey which has actual black cranberry seeds in it!

I scrubbed my face using Dermalogica mulitivitamin thermafolaint from my gloosy box and then i soaked in the bubbles wearing Dermalogica multivitamin power reciver masque also from glossy box.

After my bath i washed my hair using my loved and reviewed Toni & Guy shampoo and applied the Loreal  conditioner i got in the hair dye (also previously reviewed on my blog) and put on a shower cap that i got free from a hotel we stayed at recently.hehe
Whilst the conditioner worked its magic i applied E45 cream to my body, its cheap its simple and it soothes my skin after shaving.
I gently dabbed a bit of the skin doctors eyetuck sample i received in my £1 beauty box i then got in my pjs on and rinsed the conditioner off my hair.

I towel dried my hair and spritzed it with Charles Worthington's heat defence spray and blow dryed my hair i then straightened it curling the ends under slightly as i have a bob.
I finished my hair with a little spray of tresemme shine spray with Argan Oil.

After my bath i applyed a quick layer of st moritz fake tan using my mitt just to give my skin a soft glow rather than a tan.

To finish i painted my nails both fingers and toes in MUA shade 8 a glossy red.
I then ate a big bar of Turkish delight chocolate and watched ship wrecked lol.
LOVELY!! xx
