This morning i received the items i picked to be part of my £1 monthly beauty box from
latest in beauty.
If you are new to my blog (hi!! xx) and you haven't had a chance to read about the £1 beauty box then tut tut :)
Basically you choose 3 sample products on there website then instead of putting all you bank details in at the checkout stage you text them which costs £1 and this is how you pay for the box.
They reply with a code you enter instead they then send you your samples in the post in little pink box. This is the second box i have got from them both of which were delivered really quickly without any problems and i have enjoyed trying new products.
Its a nice sized cardboard box that fits through the letter box so no annoying trips to the post office to collect you little goodies.
This month i choose the Lavera My Age Concentrated Lifting Serum which i received 4 sachets of.
It promises to be firming and hydrating.
Its not going to be possible to see if its firming in just 4 sample sachets however is did leave my skin really soft and supple without feeling greasy or oily like some serum i have tried.
I also choose a little tube of Renu radiant skin peel.
I havn't had a chance to try this yet but i'm looking forward to giving it ago however the name fooled me a little as i thought it was one of those face masks that you peel off but it says to apply to clean skin leave for 5-10 minutes and rinse with warm water??? So i will let you know how i get on.
Last but not least i got another little pot of the Moa green balm.
I received one of these in a previous Glossy Box and found it to be a really useful little pot for dry noses and even my lips.
Do you buy the £1 beauty box? What do you think of the products you receive?
Looks like you got some good samples! I used to get this box quite regularly but then i realised I wasn't using the sachet ones at all so i have aa big pile of them with no intention to try them!
ReplyDeleteI ordered the Fragrance discovery box from Latest In Beauty in november and I still haven't received it!
I've ordered these samples a couple of times, this looks like a good box, may have to re-visit x
ReplyDeletewow what a good idea! i have never thought of doing this :D
